Today has been a most frustrating day indeed! I've looked for fifteen long years to find the sun baby, and bring her back to the world of Fey and now when I do find her? It seems like everything else just gets in the way.
First, her nosy boyfriend will not leave me alone. I know, I'm good looking and all, but I'm not trying to steal your girlfriend. Well...at least not in that way. And then, once I finally have the girl, Machievious tricked us into the wrong portal. Instead of ending up home, we end up in The Middle. The Middle!! It's the exact opposite of the world of fey--it's dry and dark and dreary. I hate it. And guess who I'm stuck with? Orion, a knight from the dark court and the moon baby. Do you know how hard it is to figure out things when trying not to fight one of your enemies?
Yeah, and it gets worse. I've had to friend Orion...friend him because we currently have a worse enemy to face here in the middle. Sheba a giant and evil spider. Let's just say, I wasn't too happy about either of those facts. And yet, things with Sheba worked out and I was almost in the clear. But as if I hadn't gone through enough in the last, oh you know, fifteen years, there's one more thing standing in my way of going home. We still haven't found the right portal. The girl's are begging us to go back in the portal we came and go right back into the human world. I know that's just a rouse for Orion and I to take them home, but now, I'm starting to fear it may be our only option. What kind of place did Machievious leave us? What if there is no other portal to go through?
And so, to add insult to injury, I now have to stay here in The Middle and play glorified babysitter while Orion goes back into the human world to find the real portal. It's just another jab at the fact that I was made human and he was not. All I'm hoping is that Orion hurries back because babysitting two teenage girls is not my cup of tea. Do you know how many questions they have when they find out that they are faeries?? It gets to be a bit much. But I guess, it does tend to be better then getting eaten alive by Sheba. On that note, I'm going to keep an eye out for the creature, in case she decides to come back up from the hole she's fled to.
